What is litigation? |
|
Answer:
Litigation is the process in which an individual or entity brings before a court a dispute or grievance and demands a settlement or reimbursement for damages. Litigations are also known as lawsuits and the term usually refers to civil court trials. They are used primarily when disputes or grievances cannot be resolved by any other means. Litigations do not always happen in favor of the plaintiff. In some cases, false accusations and lack of facts of the incident lead people to be quick to lay blame, and this leads to litigation or lawsuits. Unfortunately, people also do not want to take responsibility for their own actions, so instead of facing the consequences of their actions, they try to blame someone else and that can only make matters worse.
